I continue to look forward to seeing these! The balloons were a great idea and releasing them took my breath away. How sweet and thoughtful. Thanks for sharing what so many are doing to lift you.

Oh my, the first picture of the balloon ascending to Heaven took my breath away!

I like it when you post the pictures....here's a bit of an idea: maybe you could post where the picture was taken, like what state? It would be interesting to see how many people across the nation love Reese too!

What wonderful ideas the people came up with so far!

I've been following your blog since Reese's birth and did not watch the video from her memorial service until tonight b/c I knew, as a mom, that it would break my heart and be very hard to watch. I loved the video and I especially love the picture where she is "sleeping" on your shoulder on her hand, and then the close up of her in that same pose. She is so beautiful and am thankful to be able to see God work through your family's lives as you endure the loss of Reese. Thank you for blessing me...I don't know that I would handle it with such strength and grace. I cannot imagine what you are going through; I say a prayer for you and your family everytime Reese's sweet face comes to mind...and that is quite often. thank you again for sharing and allowing those of us who did not know you before Reese to know you and love you and pray for you. and thank you for reminding me to hug my daughter tighter each day and to be thankful for every moment that we are blessed with our children. God bless.

Thank you, precious one, for stopping by and leaving a comment. I woke up very weepy. For two and a half weeks we have been so busy with visitors and friends and today was my first day with a clear schedule. The day looked so full of possiblities, but not for the one we ache for (and what is up with all this rain=)? ). Your blog encourages me to keep taking steps forward. It was no "accident" that I stumbled on your blog many months ago. God is faithful!

What a beautiful treasure. I wanted to ask you - what do you plan to do with these? Are you making an album? So neat.

I read a verse this morning and thought of you.

Luke 7:47, "she loved much"

Katie, you did this with your little Reese and still do. May your heart continue to bleed into His bosom, He will soak up all your hurts and tears.

praying.....

I love all of the thoughtful tributes for your sweet girl! I have gotten out the camera a time or two, but run short on supplies and can only get "res"!ha! I guess it's the thought that counts?!?

Still praying for your family! Hope you all have a happy halloween!
