I cannot say enough wonderful things about our friends in Christ. The way our church leaders and small group have stepped up to support us through Reese's short life and death continues to bless and carry us. So many of our friends were waiting at the hospital last Tuesday before I was even out of recovery. Jason and I love and thank you over and over again!
Jason and I are also amazed and humbled each day as we receive cards, flowers, emails, and gifts from people we have never met. Although we may only have your name, GOD knows who you are. Please know GOD is using you in such a mighty way in our lives. We pray He blesses you "above and beyond your highest prayers, desires, thought, or hopes." Ephesians 3:21
Your generosity challenges me in a fresh new way to do this for others whom I may never meet until Heaven.

Your last sentence really touched me! Praying for your family and so impressed with your strength!
Your posts have been so precious. Your family has been in my thoughts and prayers all week.
You are such an inspiration. I can't imagine your pain and I'm amazed at your strength and thank God for it. May the days get a little easier for you each day. God bless you and your beautiful family. Reese is blessed and is having the time of her life, I'm sure. She was and always will be beautiful. God bless.
You don't know me and will never meet me, but I must tell you of the impact you have made in my life. You say that we "challenge" you, but I am sure I speak for many when I say that you "challenge & inspure" all of us.
You will probably never meet me either, but I stumbled across your story through Kelly's Korner blog. I also read Shannon's blog. I am so sorry for your loss and so amazed and inspired by your faith and strength throughout. Please know that there are many of us out here that are in some small way sharing and feeling your pain and praying for your family.
Katie,
Everytime I read your beautiful words I sit in awe over your ability to be so positive and inspiring at such a difficult time. I am amazed at how you see the beauty in all this. You are very much an inspiration and we should be thanking you for helping us to look at life differently. I know I have never meant you but your story and your words mean so much to me. So thank you.
You are so elegant with your words. We continue to pray for you & your family. May God continue to bless you. You're a wonderful woman. :)
Your strength is so encouraging to me. I continue to pray for strength and peace for you and your family. Reading your words in such a difficult time is truly inspiring and a testament to your faith.
Katie - I am praying for you and your family each day. I cannot imagine what life is like for you right now but your faith in GOD is a true inspiration. I admire your strength, as well as your relationship with GOD. Your life will never be the same but it will always be richer for having Reese. Thank you for sharing your life with us...you have forever impacted my life.
Reese's life has inspired so many!! The way in which you choose to honor Christ even in the most gut wrenching times is amazing. Thank you for sharing Reese with us!!!
I stumbled across your blog through someone elses blog that had a prayer request for you. I am praying for Gods peace to surround you and your family during this time of unimaginable loss. Your sweet Reese was and is just beautiful. Now heaven will enjoy her beauty. My sunday school class said a prayer for you this sunday. i wanted you to know that people all over are praying for your comfort and peace during this time, especially in Tallahassee. My favorite bible verse is "Be still and know that I am God" I think this verse can get you through nearly anything. It reminds you to stop and let Gods grace fill you and comfort you.
"God is close to the broken hearted"
