Lucerne, Switzerland

My last trip post. ; ) Yea!

After the cruise Jason and I went to Lucerne. It has been my dream since college to go there with him.
It was cold and rainy a lot of the time, but it was still wonderful!

Saturday morning market

Cheese anyone? ; )
The Chapel Bridge
Confiserie H & M Kurmann is a cute local candy store. We bought lots of Swiss chocolates to bring home. They didn't last long. ; )
Lion Monument
A few views from our hotel room. Aren't they amazing?! I just want to hop back into the pictures.
This is on the other side of Lake Lucerne. Our hotel is the Montana (top left).
The Montana had two bikes for guests so Jason and I rode them one day. They were free! Ha. It was so much fun. The Hotel Europe is where I stayed in college.
We spent an afternoon in Zurich before we flew home. We walked down Bahnhofstrasse (a famous street) to Lake Zurich.

It's crazy reading about the Danube River flooding. My heart goes out to everyone affected. Every picture I see is right where we were! I still cannot believe our trip went off without a hitch. I'm so thankful!

...holiness is the beauty of Your house for all the days to come.

I have a friend that lives in Zurich, I'm not sure if she still is but after she got married almost 2 years ago she moved there.

Katie,
I was born and raised in Germany and live in NWA now. I have enjoyed reading your trip recaps.....many of the places are very familiar to me. It made me miss home! Glad you had a good time.
