Today I'm linking up with Tesha's Treasures. She is such a sweet mom who lost her baby boy Jonathan in January. She now organizes a link-up on Tuesdays for other moms with children in Heaven. Just to encourage one another! Love this.
I'm SO excited to share something with ya'll. On Saturday, July 21st there is going to be the first ever Race to Remember 5K in Bentonville, AR. This walk/run will benefit Now I Lay Me Down To Sleep.

NILMDTS is an amazing group of photographers all across the US who provides "remembrance photography to parents suffering the loss of a baby..."
Lisa Mac took pictures of Reese with us, and she will be a friend of mine for life. She was with us during the hardest time of our lives...and yet a very holy time. I don't know what I would do without the beautiful pictures we have of Reese.
If want to be a part of this race and walk or run in honor of a little sweet one you can register HERE.
Can't wait! Hope to see some of ya'll there. ; )
If you have any questions, please feel free to email me.
But perfect love drives out fear...

Awe that is wonderful!! I wish I didn't live so far. You deserve lots of support!
Visiting from Tesha's link up :)
That is a wonderful idea (((hugs)))
Hi Katie...thank you for linking up. Much love to you and all of us who are in this unfortunate club. I am so glad you got to hold your daughter and that you have those beautiful pictures to cherish! I didn't get to meet my little Ryan face to face...but I know I will one day and it will be so amazing!
Oh awesome!! I am going to register!
I've been wanting to get in shape (post baby) and run a 5K!!! Maybe this is JUST the inspiration I needed!!! I love NILMDTS!! And to be able to honor you and Reese would be amazing!
Katie you are so kind to mention me :) Is there a way we can sponsor your run? I love NILMDTS. We called but there are not many photographers in our area and we did not get a call back for a week. I am going to work on a Photography web sight so I can submit an application to volunteer. I took photography at a local college for 3 years. Any way I would love to make a donation to your event just point me in the right direction! Thanks for linking up sweet friend. your and Resse's story has been a big part of my healing :)
Wish I lived closer, I love doing 5k's and after being a recipient of NILMDTS i'd love to participate.
Visiting from Tesha's link up. <3
And I just read more about Reese & your rainbow. Your rainbow was born the day my son was 7/13/10. He died the 14th. My rainbow came early & was born 7/13/11. Nice to "meet" you! :)
I'm so glad that you told me about this. I'm NOT a runner, but one of my best friends just lost 3 of her quads at 22 and 23 weeks, and I can't think of a better way to honor their little lives than doing something like this.
Awe! Wish I was closer to be able to join in! I didn't know about NILMDTS until after I had Alex, such a loss for me. They are such an amazing organization and deserve to be recognized world-wide!
I am not sure if you know of Kellys Korner but she recently did a link up of parents who have lost children. You may find comfort in that post as well. I am glad you have great support. I would like to send you a picture of Reece in the sand here in Okinawa, Japan.

Katie that's AWESOME!!!! I know you are so excited!
That is awesome! I love NILMDTS. They took pictures of our son Parker too and I will cherish them forever.
That is wonderful! Is there a way to run/walk virtually :)
So wonderful that you are doing the race in honor of your precious daughter. Wish I could participate!
Katie,
I'm doing the Race to Remember here in Little Rock in June. I'm so excited about this 5K. It is such a great way to support NILMDTS and honor all of the sweet little angels we know. I'm on Team Evie - to honor my friend who lost her little darling last September, but I'll race with Reese in my heart, too!! You are a rock and a beacon for others. Keep up your great work!
I am so very excited for this as well! I absolutely love Lisa and know how important it is to have those amazing pictures. Her work, and the work of the photographers in this organization, is such a priceless, incredible service and I can not wait to run for such a cause!
