Our weekend at the lake was filled with family, friends, and as always a little drama. What fun would it be without that? Ha! We loved being away for a few days.
I'm not sure what Z was eating, but I'm sure it was something sweet. Our little charmer.
G-Daddy & Colson
I love how Colson is looking at him.
First day on the lake
The Rowe men (four generations!)
Some of the Rush family
Zach & Barrett
I love this picture because Jason and Barry (Barrett's dad) are best friends and grew up on the lake. Now our boys play together. So sweet.
Westin & Shannon
Westin with his very first sucker. He knew just what he was doing. ; )
We went for several "nap cruises" for Colson. That's the life!
Ready for day two on the lake
Zach & Papa having a deep conversation
The great grands
Yes, go right ahead and laugh. We laugh at ourselves! This is how we do the lake, including pack and plays, tarps for shade, even a grill sometimes.
My mom made this delicious chocolate cake for my dad's birthday. That knife was so small, but still worked thank goodness. ; )
Happy Birthday, Dad!
It took a little convincing (maybe because the water was freezing), but Z loved it once they started surfing. It's so much fun.
He kept saying, "Surfer dude!" Hopefully the water will warm up soon so Colson can get out there. ; )
"LORD, to whom would we go? You alone have the words that give eternal life. We believe them."
