Silly Saturday

It's so nice to be home and have a laid back weekend! My parents came up for the Razorback game, so earlier today my mom and I picked out some fall flowers for Reese's vase. They're so pretty.

I recently found out that the Race to Remember we did in July raised over $9,000 for NILMDTS! I hope and pray the race grows bigger and bigger every year.
Zach made me this Fruit Loop bracelet yesterday at school (Colson ate a few) and brought me these flowers this morning. Sweet boy! Better than diamonds and roses. Well... ; )

Zach is looking so much older to me! He seems taller, and his legs and feet seem to grow overnight. He's been waking up SO early since he started school. Has this happened with your kids?

He climbed in our bed at 5:15 the other morning! He's surprised us because he is a really good sleeper and used to sleep until 7:30/8 unless we woke him up. I'm crossing my fingers it will all balance out. ; )

It's September!

Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things.

I LOVE the fruit loop bracelet! I can't wait until my girls make me stuff like that. And the fact that Colson ate part of it makes it even more adorable;)

Each of us are Special
Each of us different,
No one is the same
Each of are us are unique in our own way,
Those of us who have challenges, we smile through our day.
Those who of us who have challenges, we smile through our day.
It doesn't matter what others say
we are special anyway.

My little Joseph is an early riser. In his defense, he's been in daycare since he was 6 weeks old. He goes to bed at 8pm and his PREFERRED wake-up time is 5:15am...ha! That is NOT his mom and dad's preferred wake-up time for him. That's why our family resorted to the Good Nite Light. Not saying you're their yet, but if you end up needing one, email me for more details ;) PS, I do not endorse that light in any way; it's just what worked for us.
