NYC Marathon

Jason is running the NYC marathon today. Just writing those words gives me butterflies. ; )
I'm SO happy and proud and excited! He has been training since the spring, so this has been a big part of our lives the past 6 months.
Getting his bib number at the Expo
My parents met us here, and we are having so much fun! Last night we went to the race's pasta dinner. This city is filled with runners, and I'm hoping to spot some celebrities that are running, too. ; )

We are making a few stops to cheer Jason on, and I can't wait to see him! I just hope we can find him out of 45,000 runners. ; )

...let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles. And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us...

No matter how much you train, it's your family and friends {and strangers!} cheering you on that get you through a marathon! It's wonderful that you are so supportive!

Good luck to Jason!

My friend is a marathon runner and each time she writes the name of two people or events on the bottom of sneakers. Those are the two things she needs to leave in her past/dust as she runs her heart out. She feels it motivates her each step of the way! Good luck, Jason! We are cheering you on!

Love the pictures of yall dressed in warm winter clothes! Can't believe summer is gone, and fall is quickly coming to an end here, and winter is a comin'.

Hope yall enjoy NYC. I've never been, but Aaron wants to go at some point. Have a great time!
