It's been fun comparing Zach and Colson's baby pictures. I think they look so much alike as babies! Although Colson does has more hair and chubbier cheeks than Z did when he was born. Jason sees some of Reese in Colson, but I don't at all. She is just her own beauty, I guess. ; )

It will be neat to see how much Colson looks like Z as he grows. He is so chunky he may be bigger than Zach someday! Payback time. ; )
Zach is so much better with his baby brother now. He has definitely turned a corner. Yay! It was a difficult first month with him after Colson was born, but lately he is as sweet as he can be (with of course his usual two year old fits!).
Today he asked me my name. I said, "Mommy." He replied, "Mommy Katie Rowe." What?!
He also says Jason's name is "Babe." I guess I call him this a lot. ; )
I'm so thankful last week is behind us. Thank you for praying us through another big first. We felt very supported and loved.
Taste and see that the LORD is good; blessed is the man who takes refuge in Him.

I laughed so hard at how he said Jason's name is Babe. I call Drew that too... Drew will die if Brayden calls him that though... haha!
That is SO adorable that he calls your husband babe. And yes, your boys look exactly the same!:)
Those pictures make my heart melt! I can't believe how much Zach & Colson look alike! That will be fun to see them as they get older and their likenesses.
My oldest brother & younger brother are over 12 years apart in age and they look so much like each other...it's so strange...(in a good way). :)
I just laughed right out loud when you said Z said Jason's name is Babe LOL....and yours is Mommy Katie Rowe....no worries Kelcee calls me Mommy summer dawn.....dawn is my middle name LOL
OMG I can't believe how much Z and Colson look alike they really do....those baby pics you can hardly tell the difference....

So funny! Thanks for the laugh. I have been thinking about you! Hope you are feeling a little relief now after completing so many difficult things. Those first times are always hard with anything in life - not that the second or third will be a cinch but at least it's something you have done before. What a beautiful family!
Only the two cutest boys on the planet!!!!!!! :)
They do look a lot alike! Zach is too funny!
This is my first time commenting, however I've been following your blog since you were expecting Reese...your beautiful daughter. Thank you for sharing her with us! The Lord has ministered greatly through her precious life and that of her incredible parents.
As you wrote about Zach's difficult days with Colson, I was taken back 14.5 years. When our second child (also being the second son) was freshly home, our first (who was almost 2) told me to "put him away", pointing to the bassinet in the other room! Those were some tricky days making the first feel important. But, it only lasted a short time! For many many years now, those brothers have been best of friends, along with their additional three siblings!
So happy you have a set of "brothers"...such a blessing!
wow..they look soo much alike! how sweet!!
Babe! Too cute :) Sweet pictures.
Oh how funny that he calls him babe. I would love for this to happen in public somehwere. Ha! Maybe it already has...
Z and Colson look alike in those pictures. It will be fun to see him as he gets older for more comparisons.
they look SOO alike!
i'm glad you got through last week....anniversaries are so hard....i'm glad you had colson here to add a little joy to your hearts....
They do look alot alike. I also think that first picture of Zac looks like Reese some. So sweet. It's funny when they start asking your name when they realize they call you mommy but other people call you something else.
They do look a lot alike!
Chris calls me baby sometimes, but Dillon will occasionally get mad about it. "Mama's not a baby!" It cracks us up. :-)
Isn't it fun to see life through their eyes? Yesterday Gabe asked me what my name is when I get in trouble - since his normal name is Gabe but his "in trouble name" is ELIJAH GABE WILLIAMS! Never ceases to crack me up. May you have many many smiles today :) Love you, and as always, praying ~ Kelley
Wow, I knew they looked alike, but I didn't realize they were THAT similar! So glad to hear that Z is doing better - and just to let you know, Anna called me "Mrs. Ashley" last week. HA! I miss your voice and I miss you - hopefully we'll get to catch up soon! Until then, I'm loving your pictures.
I think the boys look a lot alike! Very cute!!!
It's actually great that he knows your name--IF he ever gets lost in a store or something he can identify your name....
All 3 of your children are beautiful :)
I love kid comments. One night one of my daughter's triplets was climbing on something and I told him to get down. He looked at me and said, 'I'm not a baby anymore grandma. I'm a regular kid now.'
It will be fun to see how much they look a like when they get older. It's hard to tell at this point with the baby pics!
Zach cracks me up!:)
And they boys look so much alike! I love that you have similar pictures of both of them.
Wow the boys look so much alike even down to the face wrinkles! How sweet!
They DO look a lot alike! I love those sweet pictures!
I love the things that kids say.. I can't wait until my little man can have conversations with me :-)
I think the boys look A LOT alike!!!
What cute boys! Our son calls my husband "babe" too :)
Okay - they look like twins! That's crazy! So cute! And my oldest calls both me and my husband 'honey' all the time! ;)
Oh my..they look so much alike!!! That is amazing!! THey are gonna be great brothers!
They do look so much alike! My 2 year old will say, "Hey Baby?" sometimes when she is trying to get my attention. I think we say it a lot, too! :)
OH my goodness...they do look JUST ALIKE!!!!!!! That's funny about Z calling jason Babe. Garrett did it for a while, and now he's stopped...sad:)
Hi Katie - I am a long time follower of your blog but don't comment too often. I'm usually so stunned by your posts that I just stare and stare at all the beautiful pics of you, Jason, Zack, beautiful baby Colson - and precious Reese. I wanted you to know that I have been praying for all of you - you are such a beautiful person inside and out. I can just tell from your posts that I would love to meet you one day and understand where your love of the Lord comes from. Sometimes I lack those feelings in my own heart - but every time I come to your blog, it always makes me think about how gracious and loving our God really is. How he died for me - how he lived for me - how much he loves me no matter what I do or where I go, he is there. THANK YOU for being so sweet and sharing your faith with us. You have truly made a difference in my life.
God Bless and thank you again :)

One of my friend's sons calls her Mommy Jenny. (Her name is Jenny.) He never calls her just mommy. haha.
Wow - the likeness is amazing!!!! From looking at how much Z looks like Jason and then the resemblance between Jason and his sister - those genes run deep! ;0)
katie, that is the same baby! oh my goodness, i would never be able to tell the difference. both, precious babies. i agree with jason, i see a little reese in the boys. i think its the nose. simply precious!
