Some friends and I have a saying from junior high. Whenever we feel a little overwhelmed we say, "I'm so far behind I think I'm first!" We still get tickled about this.

A part of me loves the chaos holidays bring, but the other part of me wants to sit by a fire enjoying our Christmas tree drinking hot chocolate. That's just not real life right now at our house, so I'm sitting here typing eating Hershey's milk chocolate chips while the boys sleep. ; )
So much to be thankful for even when we feel so far behind.
