Football weekend

My parents came up this weekend for the Razorback game, and I was in the mood to make a little something sweet. I decided to try the Pioneer Woman's blackberry cobbler, and it was delicious!
Very easy, too.
Just perfect with some vanilla ice cream (or yogurt!). ; )
My mom took these sugar cookies from Harps to a tailgate. So cute!
We also have a little visitor that I'm not thrilled about, but he's growing on me. ; ) More on Pete (the second) later.

We went to the lake today with some friends for the last time this summer. It was very windy, but the water was warm. ; ) I loved being outside in the sunshine!

If anyone wants to come with Me, he must deny himself, take up his cross daily, and follow Me.

That looks yummy! I showed my husband your pictures this weekend. I am trying to convince him that I need your camera! I am not having much luck because I JUST bought a Canon, but not a rebel. They are just not bright. Anyway, all you pictures look so good!

YUM! I've been meaning to make that dessert all summer but haven't gotten around to doing it. I keep making homemade peach cobbler, maybe because I'm obsessed? Glad you got to go to the lake this weekend, it's hard to believe summer is leaving us! BUT, college football season is SO much fun!! Did you watch the big BU win over TCU??
