Trades of Hope Giveaway!

Happy Saturday!

Let's start it off with a fun giveaway from Trades of Hope.

I was so excited when Jill contacted me about doing a giveaway. I didn't know a lot about Trades of Hope, and I was curious to know more. It's a company designed to give opportunity and hope to women all over the world. I was blown away with every detail!
By purchasing Trades of Hope products, it enables women like you and me with all different backgrounds and stories to put food on their table, a roof over their head, and send their children to school.
Jill sent me a Haiti bracelet and tri-leaf earrings so I could see for myself the quality of their products.

I love the bright colors in the bracelet and how light the earrings are. I don't wear heavy earrings.

I actually have their Journey bracelet and didn't realize it. It's one of my favorites. ; )

Jill wants to give away a Haiti bracelet to one of my readers!

The Haiti bracelet is made by artisans in Port-a-Prince. They roll the beads with cereal boxes (amazing!) and the other ones are made of clay.

There are two ways to enter.

1. Leave your name and email address in the comments so I can contact you.

2. "Like" Jill's Trades of Hope fb page and leave a comment (with your email address) letting me know.

A winner will be chosen Tuesday night. ; )

If you would like to shop Trades of Hope please go HERE.

Good luck!

Race to Remember 2014

We had a very special weekend. Jason's grandmother was baptized. She is 90 years old and had wanted to for a long time.
One of the church's pastors came and shared a message. There were lots of kids so it was pretty short and sweet. ; )
Saturday night was the Race to Remember, and of course Team Reese was pretty cute. ; ) My friend Meredith who I met at Baylor drove up from Texas to be with us. Love her!
Zach picked out a Viking hat at the balloon booth. ; )
Two of my besties Jenny and Hillary joined us, too. Loved every second with them!
This is our third Race to Remember, and it was a beautiful night. We sadly knew many people there, and I am thankful for this unique opportunity to celebrate the lives of our babies. The workers and volunteers did an amazing job, and we'll be there again next year!

Take delight in the Lord, and He will give you the desires of your heart.

Ringbearer

I sat down countless times this past week to post about a friend's wedding. Ha! Colson was the ring bearer. We had no idea if he would go through with it or not.
The rehearsal dinner was a fiesta. ;) He practiced walking down the aisle holding a mason jar.
 Wedding day entertainment
The bribe
We had to be there early for pictures so Colson passed out stickers.
They were a hit, and of course he was too. ; )
The bride is also one of our babysitters. We have had three of our favorite sitters get married.
Jamie was so sweet to let Cols put a sticker on her bouquet.
It was a long and crazy afternoon but he did his job, and that's all I cared about. So proud of my littlest man!

He who calls you is faithful, who also will do it.

Fun Family Weekend

This past weekend my brother and sister and I with our families all got together with some friends to celebrate my Dad's birthday and retirement.
The boys were so happy running around with all their cousins.
My dad took us for a ride in his green VW bus.
Yes that's a frog on Z's face. The entertainment at night for the grandkids was searching for frogs right outside my parents' house. Goodness me.
We tried to get a family picture but someone wasn't cooperating. ; )
He's still cute!
Sweet picture of Jason and his mom
The original "us." We look so small!
The new "us" before kids. We didn't even coordinate what we were wearing. Ha! Love them so much.

Affirm, Lord, with those who affirm with me.

Let's Talk Summer: Deer Valley Ranch 4

In a few shorts weeks we'll be packing for our trip to DVR. Can't wait! This will be my last post about the ranch until I write about our trip.

One of my blog readers booked a family vacation at Deer Valley for August. Yay!

It's been fun looking back through pictures and sharing them with you.

I was thirteen and looking good in this pic. Ha!

The rest are from our trip two years ago. So thankful for my family!
We've changed a lot over the past 25 years!

I hope I've helped give you ideas for a future family vacation. The most important thing is taking time to make memories wherever you are. ; )

Be still before the Lord and wait patiently for Him.
