Just for you curious ones (like me!), the post-it notes are from Jason. My main love language is words, so any little thing Jason writes to me I keep.
The list on my mirror consists of women I am praying for to get pregnant. On the left side are their names, and on the right is a praise list of women who have become pregnant. I love moving the names from the prayer to the praise side!
Yes, please hang on if you have a 2 or 3 year old! I'm still hanging on with you I promise, but I do feel we are finally seeing some fruit from our labor. Being a mom (or dad) is not easy stuff. A hard high wondering calling.
I had to take a picture of this when I got out of my car at the gym. Crazy! I felt like a big tank next to this little car. ; )
I also think this is too funny. We kept running out of milk, so Jason told me to buy several gallons. Problem solved! My boys like milk just a little bit.
Saving the best for last. ; ) I take absolutely no responsibility for this!
For You, O GOD, are my place of safety.
Psalm 59:9
Ha ha! That milk shelf! Have you been taking pics inside my fridge?!?! And those notes from Jason...I love that you know what your love language is (and that he does too!) Amazing what a little bit of knowledge can do in a relationship...Love you and as always...:)
ReplyDeleteAt least the shoes and sock kinda match right? :)
ReplyDeleteLove the milk shelf. My three girls go through 4 gallons of milk a week so I understand the milk shelf
ReplyDeleteGo for it! That is a boy with his own sense of style !
ReplyDeletedon]'t know why.....but you have been on my heart lately:) many prayers coming your way! oh, and i LOVE the keens.
ReplyDeleteoh my word. that last picture cracked me up! that is SO something Drew would do to the boys. hahaha!
ReplyDeleteSocks and sandals what what what?? Haha:))
ReplyDeleteI keep seeing those cars around here. I'm tooclaustraphobic to drive something like that. I like big cars:)
And I remember when my fridge looked like that. Now the only milk my kids want to drink is with their cereal..
I can totally relate to the milk. We go through 5 gallons a week--sometimes more. One day we had a very sweet Jamaican man bagging groceries. He asked "At some point wouldn't it be cheaper to buy a cow?" I still laugh about that!
ReplyDeleteha-ha-ha...too funny about the cars at the gym!! I have a large SUV too and people comment a lot on how non-"green" I am!! ha!
ReplyDeleteI LOVE all the milk containers!! Sometimes, Walgreens or CVS has milk on sale and then you can buy several gallons and freeze it if you want to.....you have to pour a little out (I usually just serve it to the boys) to allow for expansion in the freezer, but hey! you'll always milk that way right?!?!? : )
Love the pictures! Especially the socks with sandals!
ReplyDeleteThe milk in the fridge is hilarious. Last year, when my kids were 2 and 3, we probably went through 4-5 gallons of milk a week. So I know how you feel! Now they don't go through quite so much, but I still have to buy at least 2 gallons of milk everytime I go to the grocery store!
ReplyDeleteKatie - Keep on keeping on with the parenting! The first 5 years are when you really have the most impact and it is also the roughest time because you constantly have to make sure they are obeying and you have to follow through with consistency. You are awesome and I love watching your boys grow and remembering Reese. Hey! How about just buying a cow?
ReplyDeleteYou know, two years ago I would have told you that "that will never be my kid..." I swore I would never have the mismatched kid. Or the kid with socks and sandals. Or the kid with dinner all over their clothes. Or the kid with stingy hair hanging in their face. Or (most humorous) the kid who deliberately disobeys and acts out in public...just like yesterday at Swim Ranch! Now God is chuckling to Himself and slowly chipping away all of my pride and expectations! Funny how he works in our lives! Now, socks with sandals is just something I laugh at!!!
ReplyDeleteLoved seeing you yesterday, by the way! I wish I saw you more!
ReplyDeleteWait....where's the hummer? Wasn't that you who got one or was it another blogger? Lol. I lurk on blogs too much ;).
ReplyDeleteWhy not freeze a gallon or two...so it "freezes" the expiration date? When you know you are running low that night you can overnight defrost a gallon of milk and it'll be ready come morning. For years we have been freezing milk, OJ, butter, bacon etc. in the garage refrigerator...works like a charm!
ReplyDeleteYour prayer list in the bathroom is just another great window to seeing what a wonderful, Godly person you truly are. WOW! :)
ReplyDeleteT tried cow milk for the first time today.. not because he is supposed to.. but because I ran out of formula on our 5 hour ride home.. so he got Mcdonalds milk today and LOVED it! So I fear my fridge will be looking similar to yours soon enough! :)
