Way Back

One of Jason's best friends from high school stayed with us this weekend. He was looking at a house because his family is moving here. We are SO excited. ; ) Kyle and Candy have two boys that are very close to our boys' ages. Z loved playing with Kyle and kept him very busy.

Jason and Z showed him what it's like to live in the country. Ha! They took him to see our neighbor's bull, chickens, and cows.

Colson tried out his new swing for the first time, too.

It was fun to see his face light up.

He loves it!

Z of course likes to go "higher!" no matter how high he is swinging.

I enjoyed watching these guys. Friends with "deep roots" are special and rare. Throughout the years, you always pick up right where you left off. ; )

Since ancient times no one has heard, no ear has perceived, no eye has seen any God besides You, who acts on behalf of those who wait for Him.

  3. I'd say he loved the swing! We still just have 1 swing.....we need to upgrade to 2 because one just isn't cutting it.

How nice to have close friends nearby!

  8. I love the pictures but the ones of Colson on the swing just makes me smile and touches my heart! That is the TRUE, pure, innocent joy of a child reflected in his adorable smile. I could just eat him up! SO cute! :)

  9. Ha! Kyle is famous :) I'm so glad they had so much fun! Kyle really enjoyed playing with all of the boy toys at the Rowe house. I'm sure He and Kohen will be crashing your house often :) Thanks again for letting him stay, and we will see you all very soon! PS. I could just eat ol' Colson up with a spoon. He's so cute, and Kyle said Zach and Kohen are two peas in a pod! I feel sorry for ya!

  10. I would've loved to have been a fly on the wall for Kyle's visit. I have a lot of fond memories of Jason and Kyle. They were both on the 7th grade basketball team I coached my first year at ABSS. Sometimes I miss those days...

  11. This is SO GREAT! I miss my "deep rooted friends" from back home. Also, we ended up going to Florida for Spring break and so we won't be able to go "home" to visit - but maybe later this summer I will be able to meet you in person finally - LOL Big hugs my friend! :)
