the Blues

My parents gave Zach a harmonica in his Easter basket.

I think we may accidentally leave it at their house next time we are there. He sure is cute though! Thanks, Mom and Dad. ; )

*My mom bought Colson his onesie at a craft fair in NWA last fall, and I don't know the name of the booth. Sorry!

In the same way, the Spirit also helps us in our weakness, since we do not know how to pray as we should. But the Spirit Himself intercedes for us with groans too deep for words...

  2. Ha Ha! I know exactly what you're saying! My "poor" younger boys...after Ben and Michaela, none of them have ever gotten to play a harmonica - or a recorder, or whistles, or xylophones, or kazoos...and the list goes on and on! :) Love you lots (and you know I love that verse too!) Praying for you ~ Kelley

  4. No noises with repetitive noises belong at Grandma's! No Zhu Zhu's, drums, horns either!

  5. That is too funny!

Many years ago my brother (pre-having a wife or kids on his part) got our oldest child Graham his very own bow and arrows. They were real! He was 3! What the heck was he thinking!!!

He was repaid several years later after the birth of his daughter when she received a mini-drum set for Christmas! :)

  6. LOL! Hilarious! I think you're right. This should be a grandparent's house toy. My son got an accordion for Christmas from his grandparents. WHAT are they thinking?! ha! :)

  7. My in-laws gave Dillon a drum for his two year old birthday saying it wasn't loud. I have threatened to give it to them since the day he starting playing it!!!!!

  9. Kyle and Zach need to hang out when we move up there. Kyle BEGS me to buy him a harmonica. Like, he asks for one for every holiday, and I just refuse to buy him one. I just know I'll hear that NOISE all day! Oh well...Kyle and Zach can go play music for the bull :) Hope you guys had a great Easter!!!

  10. Sounds like you'll get tired of it long before he does!

Toys that make sounds have a way of mysteriously disappearing at our house... :)

But then last night, my hubby brought home a trombone of all things!!! Imagine a loud brass instrument multiplied by 7 children and you understand why I went to bed with a headache... :)
