I shared about Reese's blessing ring last year and thought it would be neat to show how much it's grown. It's still in the same place so I see it several times a day.
I used the same pattern of ribbons throughout the cards, but after Reese's first birthday I used a ribbon with cupcakes on it.
People have been (and still are!) so faithful to us. Sending us cards on significant days, regular days, holidays and days in between. Thank you!
You need to persevere so that when you have done the will of God, you will receive what he has promised. For in just a very little while, "He who is coming will come and will not delay...
Hebrews 10:36-37
So sweet. One of my closest friends is due with her baby Reese any day.
ReplyDeleteThis is so beautiful! Did you make this blessing ring? or did you buy it somewhere? I would love to get one for Genesis. Would you consider making and selling one? Also I would love to get your mailing info to send you a little something here and there. I have many of my BLM addresses, maybe you would care to join the BLM penpals?
ReplyDeleteI will never forget you sharing the blessing ring about a year ago. I started putting the cards we had been given when we announced that after 3 years we were finally pregnant. After Luke went to heaven I put the sympathy cards on it as well.
ReplyDeleteTiffany- It's really easy to make one I went to the jewelery making section at a craft store and use that as my ring it's like a choker of sorts, I simply put holes in the top of my cards and placed them on the ring. Then every few (or every card if you want) you put a section of ribbon in between the cards. Sorry if this doesn't make sense I didn't sleep very well last night :)
Hi Katie! I've left something for you on my blog! =) Have a great weekend!

ReplyDeleteHey Katie,
ReplyDeleteI love this idea...
So it looks like you attached the cards by hole punching them, and then stringing them onto the ring? What about the ribbons? Do those get threaded through each card?
hi-d
Such a great idea. It is very sweet and a good remembrance of all the good in the world. Thanks. Kappy
