Zach is always on the go (if you can't tell). In the morning he usually says to me, "Where we going?" If we don't get out of the house at some point in the morning, he gets into lots of trouble, and it's a long day for everyone!
Yesterday we took him to Jump Zone, and he loved every second. When I was taking his shoes off, he said, "I like this place!" He was in bounce house heaven, and it was fun doing something special just for him.
Cheese!
Gran & Z
Colson had a great time, too. ; )
The Lord continues to show me the true meaning of grace through our children, especially with Z as he is adjusting to his little brother. What grace He must have for me countless times a day! I try to remember this when I'm a little hard on Zach.
Before we left JZ I saw a sign advertising a sale on their summer pass, so of course I bought one. I think we'll be going back very soon. ; )
From the fullness of His grace we have all received one blessing after another.
John 1:16
Seriously didn't you just have a baby!? You look great! My lil' boy is exactly like Z. My two love Jumping places!
ReplyDeleteHow funny because I took Lauren to a jumping place yesterday too! You look great Katie!!
ReplyDeleteAwwwwww!!!!! SO fun and I know that was so special for Z. Love the picture of the three of you!!! :)
ReplyDeleteYou look great! I'm still trying to drop baby weight and my youngest is almost 16 months old! Uggh! Cute pictures - those places are great. Wish I had been the genius to think of that idea!
ReplyDeleteIt sounds like our oldest boys have a lot in common! I always say the Lord teaches me so much about my relationship with Him now that I am a parent :) - so thankful for his mercy and grace!
ReplyDeleteYou look AMAZING, Katie! How in the world? It's hard to believe you had a baby, such a short time ago!
ReplyDeleteYou look fantastic!
ReplyDeleteMy little guys love to go to the bouncy house too! except when we get there my 2 run in seperate directions!
ReplyDeleteI can't get over how much Colson looks like Zach. I bet when Zach was a baby, they really looked alike. And BTW, you really do look great!
ReplyDeleteSo glad Zach had so much fun. Before you know it Colson will be joining him jumping around and they'll be the best of friends and let me tell you there's nothing sweeter than to watch your children interact with each other and form such wonderful relationships.
ReplyDeleteCute pics! Z is such a little cutie!
ReplyDeleteI've heard that is a fun place for kiddos! I'm so glad he had a great time.
ReplyDeleteummmm, you did NOT just have your third baby!!!!
ReplyDeleteI completely agree with you about God showing us his grace through our children. We talked about that a lot this past Sunday in Sunday school....and it blew me away. I just kept thinking of all the things I repeat over and over again to my 2 (almost 3) year old.."Pleeease listen to me!!" "Please do what I ask?"
ReplyDeleteAnd then her response....much like mine is to God at time, "ME?? Are you talking to me? You want me to do THAT?"
What a lesson!
Thank you for sharing. Your story and life have touched a place in my heart.
I bet he had the time of his life jumping around--that seems to be the perfect age for jumping (safely) to your little hearts' content!
ReplyDeleteWe live about 2 minutes from a Jump Zone...and we have a pass, too!!! :) It is Connor's favorite place!!! A GREAT way to get out of the house and burn off some energy!! I really like it during the school year....ours is quiet and sometimes there are only a few people there....when AK was still sleeping in her carseat I would take a book or my bible study!!! Maybe you can take advantage of that this fall!!! :)
ReplyDeleteLooks like he had a GREAT time and you look EXCELLENT!!! If you didn't have the baby in your arms, I wouldn't believe you had just had one!
ReplyDeleteOh how I loved looking at the pictures tonight.....So happy for your family......
ReplyDeleteYou are a sweet Mom and you look great! The boys are darling too!
ReplyDeleteJump Zone sounds like awesome fun!
ReplyDeleteCxx
You and your family are SO adorable!
ReplyDeleteJZ is one of our favorite places as well. It's perfect to wear out the big kids and my littlest one just slept the entire time like Colson did. :)
ReplyDeleteMy heart is overflowing with joy for you! :0) What a beautiful family, until you are reunited with Reese...she is safe in the arms of Jesus! I'm so glad you were afforded the opportunity to have a date night with hubby too :). UMMmmmm....btw, can i say??? YOU LOOK AMAZING?!?!?
