A few fun things about Zach being 2 1/2 I want to remember...
*I love having little conversations with him. I think he may be one to tell on himself. This was our conversation in the car Monday when I picked him up from "school." I had been driving for a few minutes when he says, "Zach...go to time out." He's never told me this before.
I asked, "Oh, you went to time out? What did you do?" Of course meaning what did he do to get in trouble.
He answered, "I cried."
He never did tell me what he did to actually get into time out.
*All day long he says, "Mommy, watch this" or "Yook Mommy." Then he does some sort of trick. It's cute.
*After school Monday a friend of mine told me something I really needed to know. Her sweet daughter (who is in Zach's class) had informed her that she was going to marry him.
I had no idea this started so early! This is Zach's first actual proposal, but it makes me scared about all the "girls who chase after guys" who I'm going to have to keep an eye out for for the rest of Zach's life. Ha! I am known to spy, so I'm sure Jason and I will be following Zach and Colson on a few of their dates. Can't wait. ; )
Thank goodness this little girl is precious, and I like her sweet mom. Maybe it's ok to already pair him off so I'll get to know one of my future daughter in laws really well. ; )
I understand how a little girl couldn't resist claiming him. ; )
But now, this is what the LORD says—
you are mine.
Isaiah 43:1
hehe.so cute!
ReplyDeletePLEASE share where you got your little ones' baby books. SO cute!
ReplyDeletehow sweet! i love how he semi-told on himself. how could you ever punish him after being honest?! ; ) and oh, the proposal... how presh! it does start early; we've already betrothed our son to our friend's daughter and our sage (who isn't even born yet!) is betrothed to our best friends' son. hopefully they all like each other. your z is too handsome!
ReplyDeleteTruth be told, if I were Zach’s age, I’d so be fighting off those girls for his hand in marriage, haha!!!! And couldn’t ask for a better mother-in-law, bwahaha!!!! :) Love you Katie, and that precious family of yours!!!
ReplyDeleteToo cute! He is adorable!
ReplyDeletetoo sweet. My Noah is starting to do the same things. I love it. I have a picture of a little girl dragging Noah around the playground at a playdate. She has claimed my son as hers as well. LOL
ReplyDeleteWhat a sweetie!
ReplyDeleteHow do you pick a new scripture for each post? You always pick great passages and they are always an encouragment to me.

I'm sure Z would be totally fine with an arranged marriage. HA! He is a total cutie and I love hearing the things that little ones say. :)
ReplyDeleteHow funny! I guess it is a good thing he will tell you what he has done. Maybe that will last.
ReplyDeleteI love the picture of him - he is too cute. No wonder the girls are already asking him to marry them.
Zach is precious! My 3 year old told me after I picked her up from daycare one day that she did not let any boys kiss her today...what about the other day?? So scary!
