Oh sweet Katie- I just told Mandy this afternoon that the only thing I knew to say was HUG Abby and for you to HUG ZACH as much as you can. I know it can't ease the pain, but at least it can bring a smile to your face, if only for a little while. I so wish that there was something we could DO to help you on this journey. We are praying and lifting you up and just asking God for to continuously wrap HIS loving arms around you. You are constantly in my thoughts- praying tomorrow brings a little more "sunshine" your way...
i just was catching up on your blogs and i just grieved for you and your family. i posted awhile back when i heard of your story through mandy sisco - i worked at pine cove ranch camp. though i have been pleading with God to just cover you with comfort and goodness, i just have been catching up on your entries. you have encouraged me with unquestionable certainty that God IS who he says he is and God's purposes CAN be trusted. you are right: in reese's short time in this world, her little, beautiful life has uniquely and profoundly touched the lives of countless others. praise GOD for her immeasurable worth. 'your faith has saved you.'
I'm sure it's so hard to take care of Zach and put a smile on your face, but what a blessing he must be and such the perfect age. I'm sure you appreciate him and everything that goes along with having a boy his age. I am so sorry you are hurting and grieving so much. I can't imagine the pain you are dealing with. Continuing to pray for you daily.
Katie, You are blessed with that precious baby boy! I have been praying for you and your sweet family every day. Your photos and wonderful moments with Reese have touched my heart. I pray that God blesses you each and every day.
God hath not promised skies always blue, Flower-strewn pathways All our lives through; God hath not promised Sun without rain, Joy without sorrow, Peace without pain. But God hath promised Strength for the day, Rest for the labor, Light for the way, Grace for the trials, Help from above, Unfailing sympathy, Undying love...
I love the last two lines of this poem...hope you do, too.
Pray that you had a good birthday yesterday. Ask your doctor for Lexipro: it is an anti-depressant, and it will regulate your hormones. I take 1/2 tablet daily; you should notice a difference in about a week.
Too bad my eating in the car habit hasn't made me that cute!
ReplyDeleteA beautiful reminder of God's promises!! Praying without ceasing!!!
ReplyDeleteJust adorable! I am so glad that he is helping you through the tough moments. Know that I am continually praying for you.
