"You intended to harm me, but God intended it for good to accomplish what is now being done, the saving of many lives." Genesis 50:20
"And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love Him, who have been called according to his purpose." Romans 8:28
Thank you, Lord Jesus!
Romans 8:28 is one of my favorite verses! :)
ReplyDeleteA verse full of powerful truth!! Still praying!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteHappy to see you clinging to His Words...they are so comforting!
ReplyDeletePraying...
Amen!
ReplyDeleteGod Bless you!
ReplyDeleteKatie- I check in daily. You are never far from my thoughts and when I think of you, I say a special prayer. Keep holding tightly to HIS promises. He ALWAYS takes care of HIS own.
ReplyDeletePraying for you.
ReplyDeleteKatie, I continue to pray for you and your family. Thank you for reaching out to others with Bible verses in your own time of trial... your faith and kindness never cease to amaze me!
ReplyDeleteSo proud of you for clinging to Scripture -
ReplyDeleteSo is my word that goes out from my mouth: It will not return to me empty, but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it. - Isaiah 55:11
Praying for you!
Awesome verses to cling to during this time! I was looking up the word "praise" on biblegateway.com and the below jumped out at me...it made me really think that even "infants" as the scripture says praise the Lord....so, your little Reese praised the Lord here on earth and now in heaven!
ReplyDeleteO LORD, our Lord, how majestic is your name in all the earth! You have set your glory above the heavens. From the lips of children and infants you have ordained praise because of your enemies,to silence the foe and the avenger. When I consider your heavens, the work of your fingers, the moon and the stars, which you have set in place, Psalm 8:1-3
Keep clinging to those verses/promises/truths. Keep on trusting His heart.
ReplyDeleteGod brought this scripture to mind this morning - praying you will experience his new mercies today.
ReplyDelete"The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; his mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness."
Lamentations 3:22-23
Not a day goes by that I do not think about you several times. Know that I am still continually praying for strength to get through each moment, peace, and for restored joy. What wonderful promises.
ReplyDeleteKatie,
ReplyDeleteEven though I don't know you, I find myself thinking of you and your family daily! I have became a follower and I have also asked our church to keep your family in the prayer chain... I am glad you are clinging to his words in such a difficult time... Hang in there...
"Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest." Matthew 11:28
You don't know me and I probably ended up at your blog from someone's that I don't know...but how your story has touched my life. The tears I have shed for you - a brother and sister in Christ. May God richly bless you! I am praying for you and don't even have words to express my sorrow for you. But praise God that He is I AM and will be until you meet Reese again. Praise God for your faithfulness! Many blessings & prayers to your family!
ReplyDeleteKatie, I too, think of you each day and lift you up in prayer as you continue to grive the passing of your precious Reese. As I read through the comments posted here, I am in awe of our God who is using you and of YOU, his faithful child, who is obediently holding tight to HIS words so that you might touch others by your strength. You are loved by so many and I thank you for pouring your heart out to all of us!
ReplyDeleteHi Katie! I am a friend of Kelly's and I don't know you, but God prompted me to check your blog tonight and to pray for you. I am so sorry you are hurting and it is an unimaginable pain.
