Gray

*Right now I use Blend Paste for Colson's hair, but I'm not crazy about it. I've used Axe Wax before, and I liked it better. ; )

The painters are coming tomorrow. Yea! Zach's walls have looked like this the past few weeks.

We've decided on a gray for his room. It's crazy how many shades there are! I found several samples I liked and compared them on the walls. I wanted a true gray that didn't look blue or lavender. I went to Zach's room several times throughout the day to check on the colors and see what I liked best. Ha!
We narrowed it down to two (Sherwin Williams March Wind or Mindful Gray) and decided on March Wind. It's the middle color above. I hope I like it! I'm so excited about lightening up his room.
This afternoon the boys got out the waterhose. The first of many many times this spring and summer. Of course Zach didn't get a drop on him, but Colson was drenched. ; )

And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of His glory in Christ Jesus.

  2. It was a great day for that! I just cringe when I see the knot on his head. I know it does not bother him but it makes my head hurt looking at it:) I am just waiting until we have our first big goose egg.

We had our trim and ceilings painted right after Thanksgiving and it is truly a process trying to find the right color. Who knew there were so many shades of every color!

  3. Picking out paint colors is so hard!! What is the original color for Zach's room?
Love that it is finally warming up outside. Too funny that only Colson got wet!!

  5. Don't get me started on picking out a gray color...I just thought I wanted gray for the nursery but after discovering how many million shades there are, I gave up and went with mint green! ;) I'm sure you will love Z's room after it's painted!
