Colson loves his "jamas" and would wear them all day if I let him.
I'm a little more laid back with what he wears since I have to get him up and out the door with Zach three mornings a week. I used to think I would never let my child wear his pajamas out in public (or take his lovies anywhere...but that's another story!). I was so smart before I had kids. Ha!
He also loves his rain boots and wears them with everything. I'm choosing my battles, and he's winning this one. ; )
Is anything impossible for the LORD?
Genesis 18:14
And look how cute, his jamas even match his boots. I'd say he's quite stylish!
ReplyDeleteDang, he is such a cutie! Love those cheeks!!
ReplyDeleteI pick my battles too. H is playing with the ipad right now...shhh don't tell Bo.
He looks just adorable and oh so happy...
ReplyDeleteSo wise to focus on the important things like good manners, kindess, sharing . . .
Fashion is in the eye of the beholder hah
Colson is smart, he knows what is comfortable. . .
I literally laughed out loud. I, too, possessed so much knowledge and was critical of others, before I birthed mine. Oh my, how stupid I feel so all the "my kid will never" things I said. Maturity, it's a great thing! Raising healthy, polite, loving, respectful children is what's important no what they wore, how long they took a bottle, if they were in honors classes or started on the football team. Perspective should come at a younger age :)
ReplyDeleteI said things like that too until I had kids! My second daughter wore her snow white princess costume everywhere ALL the time lol u do have to choose your battles. In the end does it really matter what they wore to target?
ReplyDeleteHeavens, he is too cute! Yes, before I had kids, I used to roll my eyes at moms walking down the mall pushing an empty stroller while carrying their infant/small child. I was a perfect parent before we had kids. LOL
ReplyDeleteI have learned to pick my battles! Colson looks so cute in his rain boots and jamas! Have a great weekend.
ReplyDeleteColson, you would fit right in 'da hood' where I live!
ReplyDeleteDavid rides the Scooch ALL DAY LONG! Love the boots:)
ReplyDeleteMy 3 year old wears his rain boots EVERYWHERE!! We knew the weather was turning really hot over the summer when he finally conceded to wearing crocs once in a while!
ReplyDeleteMy nephew wore his frog boots ever single day for about 7 years. He had them in several sizes so he could grow with them. He wore the after his bath. He wore them to school. He wore them to church. He wore them with his tux at his uncle's wedding when he was four. He was the hit of the wedding I might add. He was so incredibly delicious. He was always small. Never hit the growth charts. Never. The biggest thing on him were his giant blue eyes.
ReplyDeleteWhen he was 9 he was diagnosed with epilepsy. When he was 15 he had a benign tumor removed from he testicle. When he was diagnosed with a serious and life threatening heart surger. After 8 hours of open heart surgery his surgeon was unable to correct the defect. We honestly have no idea what his future holds. For now he is a senior in high school. He is applying to colleges including two Ivy's. He is pretty outstanding and has a very realistic chance. Where ever he goes he will take his beloved frog boots with him that his papa turned into bookends.
No one better than you Katie what really matters in this life. A boy in his jammies and rain boots is about as good as it gets!
God bless yur lovely family!
