We had a fun laid back weekend. Friday night we ate dinner with our friends Candy, Kyle, JJ and Cari. It was wild with six boys running around! Love these friends.
Colson, Kohen, Zach, Jack, Will, & Wyatt
Yesterday afternoon I took the boys to sweet Cilla's birthday party. Rebekah did a fabulous job with everything. It was such a beautiful day the boys loved playing outside, too. When it was time for dessert I asked Z if he wanted a cake pop, cake, a mini cupcake, or a big cupcake. He told me he wanted a cookie! Oh my goodness.
This afternoon I played my very first tennis match. This is my partner Renata. I was a nervous WRECK all day, but ahh we won. ; ) I'm wiped out from all the nervous energy. Ha!

My baby is turning into a little boy! I love that he still likes his bouncer. Too funny.
Hope your week is starting out just right. Love this hour change. ; )
So we make it our goal to please Him...

Hi Katie, Looks like a really fun weekend. Thank you so much for coming by my blog and encouraging me. I can't tell you what it means to me. I left countless comment on BLM's blogs and got no response. It speaks volumes about your sweet spirit that you would take the time. I love that your blog is your life andnof coarse it includes RESSE. So many blogs that are started for baby loss are abandon-- you no like no post in a year or two....I want to ask so what happened...did it get better...did you give up? That's why I love your blog-- it is your life which includes you sweet baby girl. I have read so much from your early days with her...(I am not sleeping yet) it is beautiful. So many of the scriptures that God gave you are the same ones he spoke to me. You are a strong courageous woman of GOD. Because Jonathan died in my tummy and I delivered the next day..I had no time to think about doing thing to make memories, We took pictures but his sweet little body was so broken. He was not getting nourishment from my placenta and his little body had began to deteriorate after his death. I am so thankful for the photos I have, but wish so much we had more to remember him by. I say that to ask a favor...I am entered in a blog contest to get memorabilia items for our him. It would mean alot to me if you could stop back by my blog and leave a comment on the Good, the Bad, and the Beautiful...they are just counting comments it does not matter what you say. The post is March 9th. You are so on my beautiful list! If not no worries you have done so much already just sharing your story has blessed me beyond words. I search for a blog like yous so much in the first few weeks, to see someone that had not just survived but that had healed. You are a blessing I am blessed by your testimony. A million thank you's. Saying a prayer for Jesus to bless you abundantly!
ReplyDeleteThat bouncer made me laugh!!! You should call it his lounge chair now. Cute!!
ReplyDeleteAwww....I love this, Katie! My fourteen month old still uses his bouncy seat at least once a day. I think it will have to just about fall apart completely before we part with it...especially since he's out last baby. :(
ReplyDeletewhoohooo on your tennis match!! Can't wait to play with ya!
ReplyDeleteHey tennis superstar!! Way to go on winning!
ReplyDeleteLook at all those precious boys! I can't get over how all the high school buddies have so many boys between them. If we got us, the Smiths, and the Rushes up there we could have quite a boy party! :)
ReplyDeleteKatie...
ReplyDeleteI absolutely LOVE that Colson loves his bouncer still. I've seen you post another pic like that before a while back, and I literally laughed out loud. He is so precious!! Our Jack did that for the longest time, too. So funny!
Glad yall are doing well. I am WAY behind on blogs, and of course, yours is always one of my favorites.
Love,
Kim
