It's been a nice Saturday. Jason played in a tennis tournament, and then we got a sitter for the boys so we could check some things off our list. The number one thing was to buy Colson some shoes. Ya'll, he has never worn them a day in his life!
Whenever I've put shoes on him he stands there and cries like he doesn't know what to do. It's all my fault. I LOVE baby bare feet so the first year of his life he just wore socks when it was cold. I've put it off as long as I can.
Thankfully we found some we liked but had to order them online because they didn't have his size in wide. I'm crossing my fingers he likes them!
Colson's new thing is saying, "Whoa!" I love it.

Meredith gave Z this rocket launcher for his birthday, and it's a favorite at our house. He loves to put on "shows" for us. ; )
By day the LORD directs His love, at night His song is with me...

My littlest one doesn't like shoes either because I never put them on her. I love love love baby feet. It's too precious.
ReplyDeleteMy kids never wore shoes until they were older too. Baby feet are just too presh!!!
ReplyDeleteSame here! My son just turned 1 and only recently started wearing shoes -but only for a few minutes before he takes them off. He's not walking yet and bare baby feet are just too precious to cover up :)
ReplyDeleteCamden never wore shoes either;)
ReplyDeleteWhen he was two he starting wearing slip ons or crocs. He still hates shoes.;)
Hope y'all are having a great weekend!
My 1st babe didn't wear shoes until she was 17 months old. Now at 12 she takes off her shoes and is shoeless whenever possible.
ReplyDeleteKatie, your boys are so so adorable! My youngest son, who's 10, watched your video with me and he loved the "Whoa!" too! And about the special "Reese item" that was broken...I bet God has a divine plan to restore it in a special way, just like the work He continues to do in your sweet and beautiful heart. Thanks for sharing your journey with us!
