Tomorrow is Colson's party, and I'm almost ready. I just don't want to be doing things right up until it starts which is what I normally do. ; ) Thankfully my parents came up last night, and they have helped me so much today.
Zach came home today, too. I think he has grown at least two inches. Colson and I had lots of fun together this week, but I was so excited to see my wild man!
This is completely random, but I have noticed some waves in the back of my hair. I have never had any body in my hair unless you count a few perms in junior high. ; ) My hair has always been straight as a board. I'm wondering if pregnancy changed it? Has pregnancy changed anyone's hair?
Have a great weekend!
...out of the goodness of Your love, deliver me.
Psalm 109:21
Love that verse. And so excited to hear about that party! And yes, pregnancy changes lots of things...including your hair ;) Happy Partying, my Friend. Love you, and as always...
ReplyDeleteDillon's party is tomorrow, too. I hope you guys have a great party!! Happy early birthday, Colson!
ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday Colson! Pregnancy totally changed my hair. I have always had straight hair and now it is wavy. Weird!
ReplyDeleteAwww! Yayayaya birthday boy! Can't wait to see the pictures!
ReplyDeletePregnancy didn't do anything but leave extra pounds through middle for me! Ha! I really hoped my foot would get bigger.. I wear a size 3 or 4 on a good day I can pull of a five..
Wow- Colson is a year already!!! I bet is it going to be an awesome party. Can't wait to see the pictures!
ReplyDeleteOh and yes!! Pregnancy added some not so fun waves to my hair. They are random and not enough to work with. It used to be board straight and now I have to straighten it or it is cRaZy.
Have a geat time celebrating your precious boy tomorrow!!
Can't wait to read about his party! I hope he has a blast! What a gift it has been for u two to have the week together. I've always had super straight hair (and a couple of bad spiral perms in middle school too) but I also have a little wave in the back post pregnancy that is terrible. My hairdresser said I just have to beat the heck out it with the hair dryer and brush! Lol.
ReplyDeleteYES! Pregnancy changed my hair! Not all of it but just the back. I now have a wave in the back like I wore my hair up and then decided to put it down at the end of the day. Not crazy bad but if I pull up half in the back I have a crazy bump. And my hair is usually extremely straight. even my hair dresser is baffled.
ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday to your sweet little man! Pregnancy changed my hair all 3 times, each time it has gotten darker! It's so crazy to me! Hope you guys have a great day tomorrow!
ReplyDeleteLove that sweet pic:)
ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday Colson!! Katie I just love his little crab jumper how precious! Give him hugs for me!! Well at least you don't have to curl your hair if it's being all wavy on its own unless you don't like wavy then you have to straigten it LOL....wee he chemo is making mine fall out in places it is growing in curly? What its so funny cause my hair is naturally straight then I have these pieces of curls LOL...so I have to straighten them which girl is not easy LOL

Sums
I can't believe he is a year old! Pregnancy changed my hair SO much! It was very different while I was pregnant (different each time!) then after I was pregnant it was totally different again.
ReplyDeleteHope the party goes well and you can enjoy it. I am always in such a rush to get foot out, etc. Happy Birthday to Colson! He is so cute in that outfit.
ReplyDeleteHave fun at the party. My hair did change with all 3 pregnancies. I had curly hair and it got strighter for me.
ReplyDeleteI can't wait to hear about the party and I'm glad you got your wild man back! That is such an adorable little jumper on Colson!
ReplyDeleteHope ya'll have a great weekend!
xoxox
YES pregnancy changes your hair as well as plenty of other undesirable things! ha! Good luck on the party I can't wait to see the pics!!!
ReplyDeleteI had a friend that had totally straight hair until she got pregnant....then it was totally curly - the kind of curl you can't even pay good money for. It was beautiful!!
ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday to your baby boy!! Can't wait to see the party pics - I know it will be great!
ReplyDeleteI have a friend that had extremely curly hair and then after pregnancy - straight as a board. So it can definitely change things! :)
Before I was pregnant with Owen (now 4), my hair was curly. After I had him, it turned stick straight. Won't even hold a curl now. I'm pregnant again and am hoping after this baby, it goes back to curly! :)
ReplyDeleteThat is soo funny because pregnancy def changed my hair!!!!
ReplyDeleteI've had some friends that it made their hair go from straight to wavy.
crazy hormones i guess??
Hope Colson's party goes wonderfully! I am sure it will be great :)
ReplyDeletePregnancy changed my hair, my hair used to be extremely curly and after Kallen I definitely lost some of that! It is still curly, but definitely not as much as before! I dont mind though, it is easier to tame now!
Have a great weekend girl, I think of you & miss Reese & pray often!!
i've always heard that hormones can affect your hair...weird, but maybe true?!?! i had stick straight, baby fine hair until around the time i hit puberty and then my hair became really curly. funny enough, when i was pregnant it was straighter than ever! now it's just a wild mess, but i think that has more to do with having zero time to fix it than hormones - haha! :)
ReplyDeleteenjoy the party - i can't wait to see all the pictures. and happy first birthday to your baby boy! :)
YES preg changes alot of things!!! haha!!! but I def had a hair change....in color!! After our oldest twins were born, people ask me if I had dyed my hair!!! :/
ReplyDeleteHappy birthday to sweet Colson!!!!
Cindy
As a hairstylist I see it all the time!! Pregnancy totally changes your hair. For myself, about a year after i gave birth i started getting tons of grey hairs!!! and my hair is probably less curly and alot thinner still.
ReplyDeleteBut time can also change hair, just aging and other hormonal changes.
p.s. don't ever get a perm (haha)
About 2 months after Carter was born, I lost 2 patches of hair right by the temples of my head....it was awful!!! LOL! It took forever for it to grow back!!
ReplyDeleteYes! My hair became wavy in the back after pregnancy too. I just straighten it. I don't know what else to do with it, since I've had stick-straight hair my whole life! ;)
ReplyDeleteMy hair was straight with just a little body. After I had my kids, my hair started getting wavy. Every year, it gets more wavy! I mean, people think I have one of those 80's perms if I don't straighten it!
ReplyDeleteMy youngest is 19.5 yrs old, so it's been going on for a long time!
