It's a keeper when you have this great band-aide on your face for school pictures...
I completely forgot about school picture day (seriously?!). Z wouldn't let his teacher take it off for the picture, so they tried to "angle" him a certain way so it wasn't showing as much. Ha!
This is what memories are made of. Cute thing. ; )
...they believed His promises
and sang His praise.

He's getting so big! I can never get over how he looks like such a combination of both you and Jason. He's so handsome! :)

Such a fun memory! This made me literally LOL!
ReplyDeleteLove it! Such a little boy! If you think about how many school pictures are coming our way, I'm sure we are allowed a couple of "mistakes" like that! ;)
ReplyDeleteToo stinking cute!
ReplyDeleteCut himself shaving??
ReplyDeleteThat is just priceless! :)
ReplyDeleteJust too cute! :)
ReplyDeleteHe was lovin' it, too!
That is awesome - and SO something my boys would do too! I love that the teachers just "went with it" :) Rock on, Z!
ReplyDeleteLook at that cute boy....bandaid and all.
ReplyDeleteWould you please email me and let me know the brand name of the frame that you bought to match the others. I have a couple I am trying to match but the company has gone out of business. I use to buy from Not So Perfect Tins, but they are closed (without warning). I LOVE that you have all three of your babies pictures hanging, they look perfect.
Praying for you daily.
Oh how someday he'll look back and wonder why you allowed him to do that. One year my nephew wanted to know how he would look in glasses. So, he took a pen and drew them on his 8x10 school picture. That was a conversation piece for sure. We still laugh about it to this day.
ReplyDeleteToo funny!!!!! :)
ReplyDeletebandaid or not, he is one handsome little boy! i so enjoy reading about your sweet family :)
ReplyDeletehahaha! reminds me of when my sister was little....
ReplyDeleteshe came home from picture day with a red bandana tied around her neck. she told my mom that that she asked her teacher to tie it on her before pictures... my mom thought there was no way on earth her teacher would have done that, but sure enough, when the pictures came home weeks later, there was my sister in her precious outfit with a bright red bandana tied around her neck like a little farmer - ha! it is still framed and hanging in my parents house 20 years later :)
My husband got glasses in the 3rd grade. His mother said he really didn't need them, but he insisted, and they were just to wear if he was having trouble seeing the board from the back of the room.
ReplyDeleteSure enough, when he brought his school pictures home, there he was in his GLASSES....it is a hysterical picture, too. She about died....but it has given us a laugh all these years!
katie-I just laughed so hard at that! It will end up being your favorite school picture. My mom forgot it was picture day when I was about his age and she put me in a FONZY shirt I turned my head just as they snapped the pic. I guess there were no re-do's back in the day so I'm sporting my Happy Days shirt with a side profile. Too funny! You'll have to post his pic when you get it back.
