Last Date Night

Last night Jason and I took Zach to fno (Friday Night Out) at our church and met Shannon and Cody for dinner. I kept thinking, "This is our last date night before Colson is born!"

Dessert!
Oh, yes I did. Every bite. Coffee ice cream with snickers in a waffle cone. Delicious!
Z all wound up on our way home
Isn't this picture hilarious!? I've never seen him smile so big. He had a great time playing and loves all this little friends at church.

I don't know why I thought I would have trouble filling our days before Colson is born. There is never a dull moment with Zach. That boy keeps me on my toes, and I love how insightful he is. He talks about Reese and Colson, and I tell him what good a big brother he is. The newest thing for him is potty training. I never wanted to stress about it, and it's going well slowly but surely.

This weekend I already have a new list of things for Jason and me to do, and I think I'll organize Colson's closet for the fifth time. ; )

Have a wonderful weekend!

The Lord GOD is my strength, and He has made my feet like hinds' feet, and makes me walk on my high places.

We walked a similiar path...my only girl, Annabelle, has known your Reese for sometime now. I thought it was high time I said "hey" to her momma! :) I am praying perfect peace & immeasureable JOY for you surrounding this third precious gift GOD has prepared for you! Trust me, friend, he will be the sweetest reminder of perfect redemption in Jesus!

With JOY for all that HE gives & takes away~ Rebecca

  13. Last night when we were picking up Dub T Cody stopped at Zach's room and was waving at him. Well apparently they were supposed to be sitting down for snack so the teacher kept saying, "Zach. Zach! Zachary Rowe!" Hahaha He couldn't listen because he was starring at Cody. Soooo if he got in trouble, it was Cody's fault. :)

  19. Hi, I am a friend of Meredith's and have followed your blog since we began praying for Reece and your family. Your faith in God is inspirational! I was able recently to attend a Mandisa concert; afterwards, I purchased a cd. On it I heard the song "You Wouldn't Cry for Me (Andrew's Song); it is a song written by Mandisa to a mother who had recently given birth to a baby boy who went to Heaven that same day. The song is written from the baby's perspective...a message to his mother and family expressing his excitement about being in Heaven and anxiously awaiting his family's arrival...my first thoughts were of you and a friend of mine who lost a child to cancer at age 9. If you have never heard it, I think it would truly bless your heart...and only strengthen our faith in Christt.
