OH MY! Does that not make your stomach turn? I guess if you are used to going out to the lake and you have done it before it probably wouldn't bother you. I bet Z loved it! I would have been terrified. My husband won't even let our Bailey go out on the boat with my dad, lol.
That is not what I was expecting - CRAZY! I still love that verse - it gives me chills everytime I "come across" it. Love you and as always, praying for you :) ~ Kelley
OMG I ALMOST FELL OFF THE COUCH WHEN I PLAYED THIS! OMG I WOULD HAVE KILLED MY HUBBY IF HE DID THIS TO SHELBY, course she's only a few days from being 1 yr old too but OMG....I WOULD FLIP OUT...LOL....
I am impressed! While I can't imagine letting my husband do that, I know Ainsley would have loved to do the same! However it would have to be when mama was not in the boat!
oh my word...that makes my stomach hurt just watching it! i love that the title of this post is "trust"....but whew....that made my heart pitterpatter for sure! I have a panic attack when Jeffrey wants to take Libbi on a jet ski....let alone hold her while water skiing!!!!
That is so neat! Impressive skills and it's clear that Zach is loving it! Sometimes I find myself worrying about the kids when I go on a girls trip, but then I remind myself that my husband loves them just as much as I do. So glad that you had a nice trip! Angie
oh wow, that's awesome! jason looks skilled. We're an adventure seeking couple too so I hope our little one gets to have fun experiences like Z has had!
My little six year old loves to wakeboard and ski and has grown up on the lake. So cool to see another little boy who started loving this so soon, too! :)
WOW how fun! I am sure that will be a great memory for the both of them. What a blessing to share with our children the things that bring us joy and fun.
what a great father and son moment!!! I am sure the board just slows down and they drop laughing into the water. life vest on - check. in control daddy - check. tons of fun - CHECK!!!
Ha! I showed this to my boys (ages 17, 14, 11, and 6) and they said, "Yeah, that's why we like to go to the lake house with Dad!" so now I know the rest of the story around here, too! :)
Glad you are all enjoying summer in your own way--can't wait til Colson joins the fun!
Oh my gosh, I want to do that! You know standing on the board not in my dad's arms! I grew up wakeboarding, but so want to try not being strapped to the board!
Z is so blessed to have you two as parents! Much love and prayers!
So much fun!! My brother just got one of those surf boards for behind his boat and we can't wait to go up and try it out. Looks like both of your boys were having a BLAST!!
You and I must be some of the only moms out there who don't stress when Daddy takes the boys to have a little fun! The comments made me understand more why other moms are always saying things about the things we let our kids do! That looked super fun. I wish our lakes were warm enough to be doing that right now! Not that being cold stops my boys ... but it does stop me!
