Celebrating

We've loved spending time outside with the boys this spring! This past weekend we took them to the Hobbs State Park and War Eagle Cavern.
They loved the "chicken nugget bats." I had never heard that name before. They were so small and looked just like a nugget. ; )
It was a beautiful day.
The cavern was amazing, and the boys did great during the one hour tour.
We also took a little day trip to Hot Springs in the plane. The boys love flying more and more.
My father-in-law grilled burgers and we celebrated Jason's birthday with a yummy cake. ; )
Zach's finished K5 yesterday. It seems like we just took his first day of school pics. I can't believe it!
So proud of him!
Zach took some riding toys to field day to share with his friends. ; )
He was so sweet taking care of little brother.
Popsicles!
Zach's teacher has been perfect for him this year. We love Mrs. May! So thankful for a teacher who loves the Lord and pours her heart into the kids.

Summer is officially here at our house!

...your light will break forth like the dawn and your healing will quickly appear; then your righteousness will go before you, and the glory of the Lord will be your rear guard.

I've Got the Month of May

Happy Monday!

Colson finished school last week and Zach has two more weeks to go. We are so excited about a summer full of swimming and snow cones. ; )
Colson gave movie tickets and favorite candies to his teachers.

Spring soccer is over!
Zach's kinder class performed in a Mother's Day program and served all the moms at a tea. He was so proud!
Mother's Day tea
So thankful for my loves.
This past weekend we went to a "Start of Summer Bash" at the airport. Jason met several other pilots, and the boys ran around looking at all the planes. They also loved eating chips and cookies. ; )
The boys are almost getting too big to hop on my counter and help me make cookies, but I'll let them as long as I can. ; )
Yesterday was the perfect day for a birthday party at the park. When the boys heard the words "water balloons" they took off their shirts. They were ready!

This hope does not disappoint, because God's love has been poured out in our hearts through the Holy Spirit...

Let's Talk About Summer: Throwback DVR 1989

Summer is right around the corner!

It's obvious that Deer Valley is deep in my heart, but I don't want anyone to think they won't fit in because they don't like horses or hiking. Horses scare me. Ha! There is something for everyone, and the memories you make with your family will stay with you always.

You can be yourself. You don't have to impress anyone. Your kids are safe and can run free with their little cousins and friends. ; )

You will feel loved and served and thankful to be such a part of an amazing ranch.

Let's go back to 1989!
This year we went with another family.
 Clark Griswold My dad
I can't believe I rode horses when I was little. I loved it! I guess my fear of horses came later.
Oh yes. Fashion has always been important to me. Ha! I've always loved feeding the chipmunks at St. Elmo.

Classic. My dad bought this VW bus in London before I was born and he still has it. This is how we traveled every summer. We camped all the way to Colorado and now he wants to take the grandkids camping. ; )

Such FUN memories!

It is time to seek the LORD until He comes and sends righteousness on you like the rain.

These Days

I can't believe it's already May! I'm soaking up every minute I can with the boys. They are in such a fun season of life. ; )
This is our last week of soccer. Five weeks is the perfect length of time. Not too short and not too long.
This picture makes me laugh. He looks so alone but he's really not.
Zach has come so far. We're so proud of him.
This is all I have of Colson's team because my camera died. Cute little Pirates!

Cute cowboys. ; ) This weekend we went to a Western
birthday party. Such a cute theme!

I've also been trying some new recipes from Six Sister's blog. Just trying to get out of my comfort zone. Ha!

With each prayer and request, pray at all times in the Spirit, and stay alert in this, with all perseverance...
